Cade is 6', weighs 153 lbs, and has a slight frame. He is muscular, but not overly so and it's hard to see, especially when he's wearing looser clothing. He has fair skin and light brown hair. Cade's eyes change color and are highly influenced by the color of the clothes he is wearing.

Cade is on the shy side. He doesn't go out of his way to avoid talking to people, but he doesn't encourage it either. He seems nervous too, especially when he talks to girls. This is because he's afraid that if he messes up, people will realize they don't like him and decide to not talk to him. Cade is very insecure also and he tends to think that, when something goes wrong, it's his fault. Underneath all of this, Cade is a real sweetheart. He is always concerned about others and goes out of his way to help them. He never expects anyone to thank him for things like that, but he does it because it makes him feel good. Cade can be very charming, even though he doesn't realize it.

- - - - overall history, The only thing that Cade knows about his father is the fact that he and Cade's mother had hooked up at a party when his mother was 17. She never heard from him again, but found out she was pregnant a few weeks later. Cade lived with his mother until he was seven years old. Up until then, his mother had been barely making ends meet. His mother hadn't wanted a kid anyway, so she dropped him off at her parents' house and took off.
Cade's grandparents were extremely rich. It was a huge change for Cade, going from barely having anything to having everything he could possibly want, and then some. He had found it difficult to live with them though. Cade had barely seen his grandparents in his seven years of life and he was really shy. It took Cade awhile to warm up to them. Even then though, he rarely saw them. His grandmother was very popular in town and was always off doing something. His grandpa was always doing something sophisticated that Cade always found boring.
He never fit in with his peers either. Everyone either hated him because they knew his grandparents were super rich, or they were afraid to talk to him. When Cade was ready to go to college, he chose somewhere far away where no one would know him and he winded up in Ann Arbor.[/ul][/ul]
